The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) in Texas is seeking a qualified individual to join their team as a Law Fellow in the Special Litigation Unit. This is a one-year, full-time paid fellowship designed for recent law graduates or those currently in an accredited law school.
At OAG, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile and complex litigation matters in a variety of legal areas, including First Amendment, abortion, redistricting, elections, and immigration. You will represent State clients and provide legal counsel to the agency's executive administration on significant multi-divisional cases.
As a Law Fellow, you will have the chance to gain advanced trial experience by assisting with legal responsibilities such as appearing in court, writing briefs, taking depositions, and conducting written discovery. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with clients and opposing counsel in a dynamic office environment.

If you are a recent law graduate or currently in an accredited law school, register for the July 2025 Texas Bar Exam, and have a strong knowledge of legal principles and proceedings, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Previous clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
